You can barely go online these days without a thousand invitations to “follow” someone on Twitter or on FaceBook or on some other social networking site.
Long before this current craze Jesus offered the very same invitation, “Follow me.” Unlike the invitations today this was not to extend His popularity but to offer us eternal life.
